Maximum performance, pleasant reliability and remarkable manoeuvrability with XXL loads are the advantages that customers generally attribute to the SPMT from Cometto. The German company Baumann has now joined this community by taking delivery of 24 axle lines and is looking forward to a future ... to the MAX!
In mid-October, the Baumann management visited the Cometto plant in Italy. The site is known to be the Faymonville Group's renowned centre of excellence for self-propelled vehicles. During this visit, the scope of delivery of 24 self-propelled axle lines SPMT of the 48T series and two Power Pack Units was inspected and, after successful testing, also accepted.
Convinced of the high quality
‘You simply can't go past the Faymonville Group as a full-range supplier when making such purchasing decisions,’ says CEO Sabine Baumann-Duvenbeck, describing the wide range of products across all requirement classes, and COO Ralf Beyel adds: ’Since we took over the CombiMAX from Faymonville, we have experienced the high quality delivered to us on a daily basis - and we are convinced of it!’
Joachim Kolb, Sales Manager at Cometto, proudly reports on his relationship with Baumann in this context: ‘In my 25-year career in the heavy haulage industry, this is the second time I have been able to sell a significant number of SPMTs to Baumann. And I am more than grateful for the trust the customer has placed in me. We wish them full order books for Cometto SPMTs at all times and a safe and trouble-free journey.’
