For its site in Jacksonville, Florida the international well-known company BAE Systems will build up its transport fleet with an impressive amount of 156 axle lines type Cometto MSPE.
These self-propelled units will be used during the construction process of different types of vessels. A BAE Systems team visited the Cometto facility in Cuneo for the first acceptance test of the first batch of modules. BAE Systems opts for our MSPE Evo3 series – the strongest on the market offering 70 tons payload per axle line.
Thanks to the patented pendulum suspension and the Cometto tubeless tire design, it is possible to drive heaviest loads under hardest conditions. Additionally, five Power Pack Units with a performance of 368 kW each and dedicated accessories complete the package.
It’s always a pleasure for us to collaborate with future-oriented and ambitious partners. Our SPMT system is a reliable and proven key element to reach the highest goals, among others in the naval business.
We thank BAE Systems for placing their trust in our technology for this strategic operation.
