June 2017: Australia, 1.250 tons carried on our MSPE 40t
Last week, June 6th, the transport of a RC-2 Reclaimer with a weight of 1.250 tons took place in Australia with our Cometto MSPE 40t.
Port Kembla Coal Terminal which is located in Port Kembla, New South Wales, Australia contracted Liberty Industrial for the demolition of Reclaimer RC-2. The scope includes the removal of RC-2 Reclaimer from the stock yard over a bridge and transported to a designated offloading area for demolition and disposal. The weight of the Reclaimer is 1250 Tons with a transport frame weighing around 40 Tons. Liberty Industrial sub-contracted the transportation scope to Tutt Bryant Heavy Lift and Shift. Tutt Bryant utilized 9 x 6 lines = 54 lines Cometto MSPE modules for the transport operation. "There were some critical gradients and turn that were managed safely and efficiently." this is the statement of Mr. Felix Marquez, the engineer of Tutt Bryant who utilized the COSMO software (Cometto Software for Modular Trailers) and planned and engineered all the transport operation.
"Using the COSMO software was very helpful in planning the move and MSPE trailers were also very reliable. The client was very satisfied with the result of the operation."
True to our new motto: Cometto is Propelled to the MAX!
